About Keenie

Nashville-based country artist Keenie brings a rich blend of tradition, grit, and heart to the stage and studio. Raised in South Dakota on her grandparents' ranch on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Keenie grew up in the saddle, surrounded by legends.

Her father, Grady, is a former PRCA steer wrestler, and her mother, Kelli, is a South Dakota Rodeo Hall of Fame All-Around Cowgirl. An enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Keenie's heritage is as diverse and dynamic as her sound.

Keenie's songwriting career gained momentum in 2019 when her original song "Bring It On Back" was recorded by Sony/Provident artist and The Voice Season 12 finalist Brennley Brown. Another original, "I Just Wanna Be A Cowgirl," was featured in a SAYiWONT documentary that debuted on the film festival circuit in 2020.

A seasoned live performer, Keenie has shared the stage with Martina McBride, The Band Perry, LoCash, Chris Cagle, Neal McCoy, and Joe Diffie, to name a few — and performed alongside legends like Linda Davis and Janie Fricke. She has appeared at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during NFR week and at Professional Bull Riders (PBR) events nationwide.

Her collaboration includes writing with hit singer/songwriters that have written the likes of "When You Say Nothing at All," "Forever and Ever Amen," "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," etc.

Beyond the stage, Keenie connects with audiences at women's conferences across the U.S., co-hosting alongside award-winning artist Susie McEntire. One of her most meaningful honors was touring Africa with Armed Forces Entertainment, performing for U.S. troops at remote military bases.
